Adelaide Budgeting – 2019 Budgeting Presentations
At Adelaide Budgeting we are passionate about what we do and love giving back to the community. 2019 has been a year of great success and many collaborative relationships. A very big thankyou to all of the businesses, councils and schools that have embraced budgeting and allowed us the opportunity to present to their communities during 2019. Want to know where we have been and who we have presented to so far? Check out the list below:
Interact Australia (South Australia Branch)
Tuesday the 15th of October 2019
Adelaide Budgeting were approached by Interact South Australia to help their clients achieve understanding around their income and how to budget for their expenses. Interact Australia provide individualised support and employment services for people living with disability. Adelaide Budgeting ran a session on “how to budget on a Centrelink income” to help those clients who were currently on Centrelink income to understand their income, expenses, and how much to put away each pay to ensure that they can pay their bills on-time. There was a need from Interact to help their clients so they can afford to “dress to impress” at their interviews for work. We delivered the presentation to Interact staff as well as clients and the event was fantastic and much needed in the community.
City of Salisbury
Monday the 16th and 23rd of September 2019
Following the success of Onkaparinga Youth Program, City of Salisbury and their Youth Council approached us for budgeting support and workshop with their local community. We presented to a group of about 20 young people from the community all eager to learn more about budgeting and cashflow. Following the presentation we split into groups and people attending would approach us individually or as a group for further questions. The workshop was very hands on and lots of fun. The local community had lots of learning and experience from the session.
Love It Local Australia
Wednesday the 11th of September 2019
Adelaide Budgeting attended the Love it Local Pop Up Showcase at Semaphore Surf Life Saving Club. Being a Port Adelaide local we love supporting and collaborating with other small and local businesses. The event was very busy with some great networking afterwards and an excellent opportunity to meet other like-minded business owners. Andrew loved it because he got to have a cheeky beer at the end of the vendor event! You can see his happiness in the photo below! The sunset was also amazing… we love Semaphore!!.
